Dunno if I should even post this one, as it would mean almost nothing to anyone but me.
But I thought I'd toss this pic onto my FA, before it's lost in the backwoods of my hard drives again.
That's me with one of my Iceland-side Enfields, next to my cousin Gunnar, son of my mom's sister, Inga, and her husband Freysteinn, all-around scholar and cool guy. We're next to Gunnar's vehicle out on one of the southern black-sand beaches of Iceland, where we had been doing some shootin'.
Gunnar was killed in an auto accident too soon after this pic was taken. I still miss the guy. My best pal in Iceland, a cheerful, generous, big-souled fella. I'd trade Death ANY number of shitty, sadistic sociopaths to have Gunnar back.

Now I wish I could have met Gunnar; he seems like on of the Good Guys. I don't think I could take any of my cousins shooting -- they're all of the 'Guns Я Bad' perversion persuasion.
My niece, on the other hand... She wanted to go to Cabela's to enter the drawing for a .300 WSM rifle, but her parents wouldn't hear of it. She graduates from the University this May and turns 21 in September. She's a free spirit; she'll probably end up with a pistol permit soon enough.
