Well I just do it layer by layer. The basic color and shading then once dry I start to do the fur. With a small brush. Making it dry first before applying more fur. I use the dry cake like water color for this and the liquid tube of white (highlights) and black (the very dark darks.). It's taking a lot of practice to get it right.
