In my world, one day of the year, the animals can see their dead loved ones. All this happens at dusk and only near the place of death of the deceased.
Ghosts don't always come.
Ghosts cannot speak, but when they try - you can hear a light "ghostly" ringing similar to the ringing of bells.
They can be seen and felt (they become warm, but they still intangible, i.e. it is impossible to touch them).
