Actually, that's not the clots, the clots they don't get stuck, the clots are in the way of them getting stuck. Runny noses are the ones they get tuck.

For me the blood soaks into the kleenex then the whole thing congeals and does indeed pull out the hair in my nose when removed.

I don't leave it in that long, I usually end up waiting until it's just congealed enough to be removable, but not dry enough to be hair-ripping.
