Still trying to move out. Still can't find rent that I can afford, as well as utilities, medical, insurances, a car and everything else. x___X

Look for a place with reliable public transit. Don't forget to google map what stores, markets, hardware stores are near you, and easily accessed by bus/train/tram.

Look for a job that carries a group policy on medical insurance. It's a lot cheaper that way. The work will most likely suck, but it'll be a steady income and insurance.

Get a roommate. Preferably NOT close friend or family, but still someone with references from people you trust to not be pants-on-head retarded about science stuff.
If your roomie's TOO close to you, it'll be impossible to kick them out if they don't pay their share of the bills without losing a friendship and all the friends you have in common.

But yeah. Good luck Wolf, and get out as soon as possible. Radon can kill you. Worst case scenario, you can report in an anonymous tip to the local housing or safety authority. They'll FORCE him to spend the money to fix everything, by placing a lien against his house.

If your house has a lien on it, he can't refinance, sell, trade, or even GIVE his house away to get rid of it. And he'll be penalized for not fixing it QUICKLY.
