Ah, there are always ways. Sometimes Shiny just enjoys the scenery as he plays blimp. Even popping would be no problem as like in various cartoons he just can reform from such things quickly again. =D

Not much different for me. I always enjoyed toony Reptiles of all sorts. From Dinos to Dragons to Lizards to Amphibians and so on. Crocs and Gators of course holding an important spot for me. =D ❤️️

I like cute characters in general. Just saying that i always felt like having especially a thing for Reptiles. Usual influences like cartoons, movies, books and video games of course. What I enjoy about fiction, is the fact that people manage to make all sorts of cool and unique, adorable and lovely versions of elseway dangerous and ferocious Animals. I like a bunch of them, though would probably never get near anything that could seriously harm me.
Somewhat a shame thatthings cannot be as peaceful and harmless as in my imagination usually. <X3

That's the glorious thing about imagination land! the reptiles can be friendly friends~! one thing I don't like is when the reptiles are played as villains, there are nice ones too people! X3 but I do share your sentiment, most of them are friggin' adorable~

Understandable. I tend to differ villain characters in various categories myself because there are some that aren't evil through and through and just like mischief makers now and then. If it's for video games, I also feel like it's an amusing theory to go by that each character in a game is just playing a role like on a live movie set (because when you for example restart the game or a stage, all people go back to where they are supposed to; even the ones you might have beaten before).

Sometimes, I also just find some characters look way cool in terms of their design and I cannot help but imagine how much fun it might be for Shiny to cosplay as them or ponder about if they would approve of the lil guy. ^_^

I like that idea, everything's a set piece~! I can see that approaches, for example, the divide between someone like Gex the gecko, and Latch from lethal league, both aren't, inherently evil, sure latch is rough, but he ain't evil. to my knowledge. I like both ideas really~

Actually, the idea isn't all that new. People for example believe that most if not every Super Mario game is a play, first time that people started to believe so was after observing the looks of the title screen in "Super Mario Bros. 3", later in "Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door"'s battle screen as well as the sequences from various Mario sports games like "Mario Power Tennis". That would explain also why sometimes Bowser tries to kidnap Peach and other times he just has a great time tagging along in a race or party with everybody.
The same concept got used not too long ago by Disney in "Wreck-It Ralph", where all of the video game characters basically played their roles in their games, too. Personally prefer it that way when it comes to official releases because it leaves always open the possibility of everybody getting along greatly actually. ^_^

Oh, you bet! I always love to see Shiny crossing over with characters from games and shows, especially the ones that also are Reptiles. Here is a good example:

The paper Mario series before SPM comes to mind with that idea yes~ and I do love the idea that these characters ARE putting up a facade, and are great friends, Heh, now you've got me thinking of that~

That is the simple reason. I like happy and cute stuff. Some characters have their own fun appeal and when looking at them, I think that Shiny may be likely to fit in. ^_^

Well, would definitely be an interesting result if anybody who isn't a Yoshi tries that fruit and in a result gets both bloated and turns into a Yoshi from it. X3

That makes sense, but imagine a yoshi eating one of those fruits and then using a helium tank while the effect of the fruit takes effect. I'm imagining that.

In "Super Mario Galaxy 2" if I remember correctly, Yoshi became light blue and a gauge appeared which indicated to you when the lightweight poofy state would run out.. At the same time the gas leaked out of his snout and so propelling him and Mario into the air.
That said, things of course don't need to adapt 1:1 to the games of course. =3

Hehe, the possibility is there. I mean, in "Yoshi's New Island" on Nintendo 3DS he manages to gobble down a giant Shy Guy somehow so grabbing onto a bunch of fruits at once seems like an idea that a Yoshi could also get.
If that effect adds on top of eachother and makes them extra big or if it just lets them float for a longer time of course depends on who thinks up such a situation in the first place. ;3

I can of course only go by my own imagination but since fruits are part of an organism like a plant, I'd say they might also poof up into a balloon shape. Might be that if a Yoshi eats that inflated fruit that it has the same kinda effects like eating a blimp fruit and then using the balloon.

good point hey but the same if Yoshi eats something that inflates him he would have more space to eat something else but if he opened his mouth all the air would go out because of that if he wanted to eat other fruits he would have to find a way to eat them without the air running out

Well, that's why hoses are probably always the more efficient way to create a Yoshiblimp, hehe. That or using a Magikoopa or Koopaling wand. <X3

Oh, Pokémon got something close to it with the Full Incense. Its fragrance makes the holder bloated and slow moving. In the Pokémon Trading Card Game whatsoever exists an actual Balloon Berry which does make retreats going faster. Well if you float out of battle then I guess that's of course a way to avoid confrontations. ;3

And of course there is also the item Air Balloon that gives one the status effect Levitate. I guess Shiny is one often to be seen with said item. (^.=.^)

Oh, it is there. Basically, Pok´émon with that attribute cannot be hit by Ground attacks like Earthquake and the such because they are in the air. Some Pokémon like certain Birds fly most of the time so it would be silly to assume that an Earthquake would have much of an effect on them. It's rather fuun to look at the whole spectrum of Typings, moves and abilities that way alongside with items. ^_^

Hehe, actually, you named it air element. The games simply differ between the attribute of being either a grounded or ungrounded in their state. There are of course strategies in Pokémon battling that can be used against it all but we're seeing here the picture more from a funfilled cartoony point of view anyways. X3

Oh, there are several ways to release excessive helium in case he is floating. Could of course always just bouncing like a beachball, you see. <X3

Please, don't worry about it. You know that I like him a lot, too. Really, if Mr. Patch goes to sleep and doesn't mind somebody else then you can surely use him as bed. And if he wants to be left alone, Shiny would happily take over that role for his friends anytime. I have understanding though if you prefer your crush over a silly Totodude, even if that Totodude wouldn't mind getting painted in Mr. Patch colors and rubber even to give you a smile. 💚

You are a big fan of characters like Mr.Patch and Falco, Jet and other characters, elseway you wouldn't bring Mr.Patch so often up if you wouldn't be infatuated with him in some way. Oh! Did I ever mention that I also have a Spyro FC? Her name is Izumi(Japanese for "fountain" or "spring," she's a Princess......Oh, and as hard as it is to believe, she has a crush on Ripto XD (I dunno about you, but I would've at least TRIED to develop Ripto from villain to anti-hero and/or actually finish a new Spyro game instead of the rushed together pieces of crap we got after the original Trilogy, that each need a random digital band-aid every five minutes!!! >.< *deep breath* Maybe a Crash Twinsanity inspired game where Red the Fallen Dragon's plans for revenge on the Dragon Realms, basically force Spyro and Ripto to team up LMAO(They may be working together, but they don't have to like it XP)Anyway, Izumi HATES Red because he killed her parents(her father married a dragon LOL)when she was littleAnd now Red's forcing her to marry him......*shudders*But don't worry, Spyro and Ripto won't let that happen!

Well, video games are less art projects than that they are made for making money. People will buy things even with the flaws. Years back when the video game market was smaller the companies had to absolutely make sure that they would not have major bugs or it could cost them their place on the market. Nowadays you get stuff like only half of the game ready at launch because you can just patch stuff in and the market becomes digital only in some cases even. The distributors aren't in any way as under pressure as back then.

Of course they are -_-" But since we're on the topic of video games, I have another question about Mr. Patch......Is he an Assist Trophy in SSBU?? His Boss theme made it into the game, so he's GOTTA be one of the Assist Trophies, at least

They didn't add any assist trophies in with the Fighter's Pass. The DLC only consists of fighters and also the promised Mii Fighter costumes from before the game got launched. It's unlikely that there will be any assists added.

As for the subject on that, I think Sakurai and his team work hard enough already. People can be happy they are even having extra DLC beyond the one already available. Also, let's be honest: Mr.Patch is no major character important to what is part of the Banjo-Kazooie canon. The Spiral Mountain stage pretty much has the most important elements included and there is already a lot of work involved in creating both a stage and a character each time around.

I wanna say it once again: Supercute and neat imagining of a fusion between Shiny's Totodile design and a Yoshi(balloon...beachball...blimp...humongus floater...), Milvus. =D

Always been a fan of Yoshis as they are such an adorable looking(those round cheeks and noses and happy attitude), often rather cute Dinosaurspecies in gaming. Since this particular one has like a bunch of Shiny's details to him, I assume that Shiny got infused with Yoshi DNA in an experiment somehow. A funny thought would also be that Shiny isn't done changing in terms of another transformation method and couldn't help playing around in the process. Slower TFs are also having their charm afterall.

Love Shiny's jolly expression here again. He's just feeling happy whenever he can join into fun Inflation games, whether they got started by his dudes like Milvus, by himself or are a random result from some funny side effects of things that come into play.
One thing is sure though, either Shiny is just bouncing about in his nicely drawn ball shape, wiggling his cute marine blue shoes and acting like a nice toy for his dudes or just floating about somewhere and laughing as he's on some nice airtravel up and upper, not minding to get bigger but rather enjoying the nice tingling feeling (the blue background gradient tones remind a little of a blue sky and the white of the clouds slowly coming into view). X3

Always feeling happy when getting to share such nice experiences through Shiny and the kindness lform talented people like you, Milvus. I'm sure, no matter if Shiny's Glydondude may decide to fly by and have a soft landing on Shiny's back or if Shiny later deflates and pops by to visit him, it will always be a joy for the jolly Totoshi (well, as long as this lasted) to assist and play around together.
