The sister unit herself! Not an actual character slot so used the Lions Arch Appearance editor to modify one of my other Asura for picture purposes.
Will be happy to answer questions about Tepkk or Kizz, the Inquest, or even small responses as Tepkk in the comments to other residents of Tyria! This will hopefully be a semi ongoing series as writing as Tepkk and his family has been a good bi daily exercise.

My time in Prison
I bet the header really caught your interest Sister Et al - I'm fairly confident you didn't know that about me did you? Left you aching to find out what terrible murder or heinous theft that got me thrown behind the force walls and painful shocking rifles of the Peacemakers?
Though since you know me you are probably giggling by now knowing that I could likely never do something bad enough to get jailed for an actual crime. Eh.
Well you are right! It was to take the time that had to be served away from a Manager. Thats another one of our duties that tends not to be explained to us until its time to enact it. As a 'less important' department we in PR are often the ones serving the few days in a cell after an incident. I believe years ago it used to always be the one in charge of the Team that did the incident but the Inquest has lobbied enough or 'convinced' enough Council Members to change it to just be 'an Inquest member' who serves the punishment. After all it was 'The Inquest' that was at fault, so 'An Inquest' member just had to serve the time for it. It makes toootal sense doesnt it?
Well surprisingly it wasnt the reactor incident as that was on camera as a golem malfunction that we were unable to prevent. Besides I was being scrubbed down and in medical and coffee during that. It was a much more benign incident that got me down at Peacemaker HQ. It would at least be nicer now than then I MEAN UMM....RIGHT! INCIDENT!
It was a case of drunken assault. If I recall correct it was two Inquestttttt.....Stealth Operatives? Yeah that works. Who were back from a successful mission and enjoying their pay and success at Soren Subs. Lots of our Operatives like to frequent there - either way they were very much enjoying their time there. And four Dynamics graduates were trying to blueprint something on the other table. Words were hurled both ways and the two Red Coats eventually stood up and spread their arms. Welcoming the Dynamics to 'try and hit me'. It was a good scuffle I'll have to see if we still have in on our shared network or you could probably look it up easier but the two Operatives left with only scuffs and bruises despite their inebriation and the four Dynamics were all either on the floor or over a chair or table very much not awake. But as I said we still have it, as did the Peacemakers for such a public place. The two Operatives however were needed on another assignment and as you will see in the recording if you find it I arrived juuust as the two were leaving.
Quickly I was able to work out that the four Dynamics were not dead thank Alchemy and had just been rendered unconscious with very precise strikes to nerve clusters. I was informed over my ear piece that they would be fine if sore when they woke up. Which was good as once I had them all either sat or laid down more comfortably than they had been left the Peacemakers arrived. They were not pleased with the situation and demanded to know what was going on. I relayed what I was being told by the Manager on call who kept cackling about what a good show 'his lads' had given then but I was able to ignore that and just answer the Peacemakers questions. The other PR that arrived helping the Dynamics wake up and stretch to stop twitching. Before I was also informed to give myself up to them to serve the time for the disturbance of the peace. Thankfully because the Dynamics were starting to make noise and wake up I was cleared of potential murder and restrained when the Dynamics were questioned. They seemed fine besides their pride and quickly all left with their blueprint. I was then marched back to Peacemaker HQ, told the crime of Public Disturbance - only that woo - and that I would be staying the night, before down into the cells and dumped in the empty one. After I had my Inquest items, weapons, gloves, shoes, and coat removed of course.
I will say that despite the stigma the Peacemakers have their jail cells are pretty nice. Warm too which was very good due to me just being in pants and a light shirt. I also took the precaution to eat before doing this recording for once so no disturbances!
Zikki wasn't that good of a conversationalist but the Bear and Zaiyah were keeping her attention most of the evening. The...other resident however I doubt I'll soon forget. It was a chicken. But unlike any chicken I had ever seen. Even across the room I could see the intelligence in its eyes. How it would pace and sometimes turn but always look back. Directly at my face. Like it was trying to figure me out. Or judge me. Or waiting for something. Whatever the Peacemakers have in that cell is no normal chicken. And I really hope that cell is where it stays.
Dinner was a fairly simple affair thankfully at the back of the cell away from the chicken. It came in on a shelf from the wall and was some fairly simple processed meat of some kind as well as bread and water. Much better than the stories I hear of Human or Charr dungeons where the prisoners likely get nothing. I did hear the chicken do...something in it cell but when I looked over the food was already gone. Pretty much instantly. I still see it watching me sometimes in bad dreams. I'm sure I'll get you giggling about it now but...its eyes....just forget it. Forget it. Which I wish I could do.
I will say there wasn't much to do in the cells but thats probably the point so you can be bored and think long and hard about what you did to get yourself thrown in. But the boredom is probably the main part of it. As there are few things worse for we Asura than boredom with nothing to do. The bed and waste disposal were securely attached to the wall so nothing to do with that and the force wall wasn't even electrified. So I just had to sit and wait. Didn't even get any Manager or co-worker visits. The only thing was listening to the Bear whine about not being a bear and trying to ignore the chicken.
But once I had slept and woken up Zikki showed up to let me out and send me up the ramp with a whap on the butt saying that she 'hoped to see me restrained again'. Very odd lady that one. But then I was given back my stuff and it was done. Could have been worse I guess but after walking over to Inquest HQ I was given the morning off to eat and clean myself up and as a reward for taking the fall for the Manager. So it could have been way worse I supposed but still it kind of sucked. I hope I never get thrown in there for longer as I can imagine most Asura would go mad with nothing to do in there.
Hope you liked the tale Kizz. There may be a big operation soon and I'll keep you posted on that. End recording.
