it use to make my laptop smell like burning plastic, at least whenever i ran photoshop. as soon as i connected a drawing tablet to one of them, the motherboard caught fire. It was a really old laptop though.
every desktop i used runs fine, but laptops don't tend to like using graphics programs at all.
