Even being heavily pregnant with a large gravid belly won't stop me from going on small adventures and practicing more and more magic. Refining takes work and I don't have time to take breaks. To master the arcane arts, one must continuously refine themselves and practice on control.
Of course being pregnant does slow this progression down a bit but nothing wrong with a slower pace.
