So over thanksgiving break i was given the assignment to draw me getting saved a dirigible/blimp. Blame  unshackledfenrir for giving me the idea and running w/ it. I think I came up w/ making her a super hero b/c of the fact me, him, and his boyfriend all spent a bunch of days in my boyfriend's comic book shop. The colourway was inspired by James Jean's illustrations for the comic book series Fables. I did the sketches and line art while in airports and then coloured it on sunday to show my teacher for my final review yesterday. In total only took about 10 hours which is much better than the 20-30 hours i spent on the gift i made for  metro
