Gorgola was a SuperHuman Type Warrior Beast and Monster of the week on Ep.54 Anime – He was one of a few Monsters to not be commanded by his division Commander, but by Minister Argos and was his final Warrior to command before the character was killed off by Great Mazinger. Gorgola had a robust torso yet thin legs, he was Yellow, Gray, Green and Red in color scheme, with a cone shape head adorn with four horns on the sides and a long sharp blade on the top and two missile launcher barrels which hang from the side of its waist. He could sprout wings from the back which allowed him flight. His weapon of choice was a long Battle axe and was among a few beasts to contain his brain in the head.

After the return of of Koji and Mazinger Z, the Great Marshall of Hell is seen in a state of distraught, destroying a statue of Mazinger Z. Argos, under the command of the Emperor, tells the Marshall he would go as his standing in and avenge Dr. Hell in his name, the Marshall begrudgingly agrees and calls forth Gorgola for the mission and they travel on Demonica with Janus for the mission – on the way, Argos expresses he'll attack the Photon Power lab first, while Janus will sneak into the fortress.

Meanwhile, the Staff from both the Photon Power Lab and the Science Fortress gather in celebration of Koji's return, Koji having a heartfelt reunion with his father. As the Party continues, Janus sneaks into the fortress and sabotages the Brain Condor by removing the transistor, she reports to Argos, who is burrowing through the ground on the Demonica on the way to the Photon Lab, it is detected by the Fortress Radar and Tetsuya goes to investigate on the Condor and crashes into the sea. Demonica emerges on the Photon Power lab and attacks.

NOTE: WOW, sure has felt a long time since the old place was kinda torn apart.

The Fortress comes on high alert, as they attempt to contact an unconscious Tetsuya, Koji runs back to the Photon Lab, gears up and takes off on the Jet Pilder. His early attempts to dock with Z are foiled by Demonica's weaponry, but he succeeds and Argos launches Gorgola, who takes on the Mecha – the Beast agility gave advantage over Z. As Koji goes after it, Argos continues his assault on the Lab … and he succeeds, leaving the place as smothering ruin, and makes its march to the Science Fortress. Tetsuya wakes up and runs a scan, discovery the removal of the Positioning Transistor, Jun flies on the Queen Star to deliver a new one.

Borot arrives to help Z, but off course, he is cut in half. Koji continues to fight Gorgola, when he gets a called for help from his father – Koji docks with the Jet Scrander and takes the aerial fight to the Beast. Koji grounds Gorgola with a barrage of Southern Cross Knife, then cuts the Monster in half with the Scrander Cut. Koji disposes of the Beast with Breast of Fire.

Demonica has the Fortress under assault, tearing down the barrier, and Argos and Janus emerge to give an ultimatum. Unfortunately for them, the Brain Condor emerges and Tetsuya now docks with Great Mazinger, who takes its turn for some pay back on the Battleship, stopping the missile assault with the Great Typhoon, and then tearing the Minister apart with the Driller Pressure Punch. Janus grabs his Mentor's head, who's last words are “I have failed!” and she retreats. As Demonica begins to pull away, it comes under missile attacks from both Z and Great, and toss the battleship into the Ocean.
