My Mom drove an 850 Spyder, We got it from the neighbor across the street. while trying to figure out why it was overheating all the time with such a tiny radiator, I asked my father "maybe the radiator is too small!" My Dad got mad at me for making such a stupid comment we removed the shroud around the radiator to prove what an idiot I was for making that statement ...the radiator was caked in yellow adobe mud except for the small hand-sized area in front of the fan, after we hosed off the California adobe brick of about a gallon off it stopped overheating. I never got an apology from my Dad, but later on, in life, I realized he thought he was the idiot back then for at least not taking the shroud off to look at it, instead of demeaning his son.

He's is gone now, I eventually surpassed him and became a Toolmaker Machinist, Transmission mechanic, and Combination Welder, and a car Mechanic. Able to fix even cars I don't have a manual for.
