I am at the top of a great quivering hill that is slowly swallowing me down. How strange, to have to climb to sink... I feel myself slipping down, Wontoon's flesh closing round my knees, my thighs; I put down my hands to steady myself, and feel them also caught. And then Wontoon raises his great head to watch me disappear, and I give a little moan of awe; my mind seems to be sinking into those vast eyes as my body goes down into his belly.
