Background:

Little is known about Luke's past. All he remembers about it is that he was human once and that he was abducted, taken into a lab in some place he thinks was called Big Empty and... something being done to him that turned him into the humanoid Gecko he is now. The experiment likely affected his brain due to him being unable to remember much about his past. He can't remember his full name except that part of it sounded like "Luke", so that's the name he goes by these days. He also remembers his irrational fear of Cazadores. However, his transformation has given him a lot more muscle power, so he's good at hand-to-hand combat. This, his perceptiveness, survival skills and even some good luck are why he's managed to survive until now.

Personality:

Luke is very friendly, although because most people see him as a monster, he prefers to stay away from other people. Especially those that want to hunt him down. He has very few human friends. He's still capable of human speech, so he's still quite capable of making a few friends as long as he can safely approach them. Of course, because it's risky for him to approach others, he's quite timid and often feels lonely.

*Torch is a companion from a Fallout: New Vegas mod I found online. Torch is a Fire Gecko, so I thought it'd be a good fit for Luke.

Speaking of mods, the overall concept of the Evolved Gecko was based on the Gecko Brutes and Gecko Masters from the Monster Mod and Monster Mod Additions mods, which are Geckos that work like Super Mutants, walking around with the same animations and wielding weapons, though only Melee weapons in the case of these Geckos.
