After getting a harsh scolding from Doug and Delilah and getting grounded for a month, Dolly tries to win back Dylan's trust with no results. While the rest of the pups in the family still tolerate Dolly, Dylan won't even give her the time of day. 3 weeks go by and Dolly finds herself miserable and lonely without her stepbrother, even though the rest of her siblings and step-siblings try to keep her company (Dante, of course, being absolutely no help). She tries to win him over by doing him favors like taking care of his chores (which is something she absolutely hates) and even tries to play "Poodle Wolf: Quest for the Golden Chew Toy" with him, but he still won't even look at her.

After trying and failing, Dolly finally breaks down and tearfully apologizes to Dylan, begging for his forgiveness...and when she looks up, she sees him smiling at her and he says "That's all I needed to hear".

Relieved and happy, Dolly hugs Dylan and says that she while she might make a few jabs at Dylan, she never wants to do anything to lose her stepbrother's love and promises not to do anymore mean pranks, and Dylan admits that he hated not talking to Dolly and missed having fun with her.

Later, when Doug and Delilah get home, they find their son and daughter sleeping together along with the rest of their siblings and are happy that things are finally back to normal.
