This is a brand-new piece of traditional art that I referenced from a silly stock image of a stereotypical businessman grimacing at a corn dog. Some of you may know what I'm talking about... Well, I Furritized (Furried? Furrized? Furrazed?) him! This is the result.
This is also the second piece I've colored with my new Prismacolors, and as such looks more vibrant and smooth. That's exactly the effect I love about markers. However, I didn't do the lineart for his eyes quite right; he looks like he's totally tripping, and is seeing something strange in his hand that we aren't. LOL
The original stock photo does not look like that, so I suppose this one took an even more comedic turn with my mistake. I won't say I'm disappointed, as it still ended up working out just fine in the end; however, I WILL say I am disappointed in his right hand -- I outlined it too slender the first time, attempted to white it out with a Japanese formula of correction ink, then re-outlined over the white with my outliner. I would say that the correction ink colors even WORSE with markers... Ack! Another lesson learned, aye?
