8" x 10" oil on panel. One of the first of many semi-abstract (or at least beginning as abstract before I see something in them) pieces I’ve really enjoyed working with lately. I’m especially drawn to the atmospheric merger of sea and sky in this one. Though this piece is now two years old, it remains one of the best paintings I've done.
This piece is now available as a really special metal print on my website! I've wanted to offer this as a print for a while, but it's smaller than my standard prints, and paper prints never truly captured the original. But guys, these metal prints are fucking sick. It's printed on white metal so it's not at all dark, and recaptures the luminosity of the oil original in a way I never thought possible.
