Trying something different while the comic is in half-hibernation. I think this 3D background took about the same time as my normal backgrounds, AND is re-usable!
This background was done in Second Life. I've been meaning to create them in Blender, but I've gotten so quick with Second Life's tools that it looks like I'll be using them until I figure Blender out better. I still haven't figured out why my textures in Blender don't always show up. So many buttons with abbreviations and terms I don't know. I'll follow some tutorials soon. Second Life has VERY easy building tools.
I have no intentions of going full-3D with the characters unless I can make characters as expressive as with drawing, and in comparable time. I doubt that will ever happen in Kenny Chronicles, and is very unlikely in the sequel I'm planning in a few years.
