Sketch - Watching Construction
Quick little sketch of me watching a building get built.
It is quite a fascinating process. So many humans, each with their own pasts and experiences - stories if you will - working together to combine specialties in order to produce something so comparatively grandoise.
And for what reasons? Well, money perhaps, but can I really add "pride" to the list? So much of the important base structure is never seen and rarely even considered by others, yet great care must be taken to ensure they are done right. Quality materials, perfect measurements... and very little to show for each individual effort. None of them can say they built a building, but rather that they simply "worked" on one. And how often do any of these particular Hans even go on to uae the building for themselves? Very rarely.
Selfless dedication. It has to be admired.
... either that or money. Man, people do some crazy things for money.
