Amidst all the other projects I have going on, I discovered a lost cache of piccies I drew up years ago. This is one of them.
Here we have one of the very first depictions I ever drew and colored of my Baby Yoshi character. It's amazing how eight years can wreak havoc on the quality of standard, as well as colored, pencil work. It is for this reason that, if you happen to work in either medium, I highly recommend scanning and saving your work to something more permanent. Fortunately, in this case, the power of a modern-age scanner and its enhanced, support program have allowed me to salvage far more than I could've hoped for with this particular piece. :)

You know, that's one aspect of this old piece that I actually didn't think to consider until you just brought it up.
Although the style has developed and changed a bit over the years, the enjoyment of putting together such works has not. I can honestly say that I feel just as happy making new work today as I did when I scribbled this little guy all those years ago.
This in mind, it's great knowing that, after a decade, being creative in such a matter is still as fun as it was on day one. *flutter jumps* Gabby-Gabby-Gaboo!

Indeed! I was most elated to find it back up-and-running yesterday morning. Just in time for yet another forray into the job search, too! :)
As for the head of this little fellow, I really tried to make it look the plushie I had. This honestly is the best I probably ever came to achieving such a goal and, thus, of all the old pics I found I figured this the best one to share as a representation of the old works. :)
