Pet Portraits: Jadis, for SpanishMal (3-4h?)
The time on this one is completely approximated because I have NO IDEA how long it actually took, nor was I counting, but ANYWAY. A while back, I started doing some little side projects of beautiful animals I knew through the dog-o-sphere of Tumblr, starting with this girl! The owner goes by SpanishMal (http://spanishmal.tumblr.com), and Wyrd showed me one of their photographs that had SUCH gorgeous golden hour lighting it looked halfway to an oil painting, so... that's what I went ahead and made of it? Albeit digitally!
The beezer if SpanishMal's gorgeous dog Jadis, who has such an amazing aesthetic on her own, and I went ahead and gave her my giant working files over The Tumbles after I'd finished, but thought I might as well post it here too. Pet portraits are fun once in a while! Good drawing practice too.
