Adopted this fella from
Dinkysaurus a few months back, and finally got a chance to draw him!
Sketchpage turned into something like a reference so I got rid of the shading and made it that instead.
One more for my dino oc army aha

Ikr? they gotta have the bellies for all those leaves!
I'm not sure how to explain how I draw like this beyond, like, focusing on circular structures? A lot of my characters have a heavyset chest + large circle for the belly + oblong circles for the arms and legs. Thick thighs, all that jazz.
I quickly slapped a bunch of my WIP sketches onto a doc, if you want to see how I start most of my drawings of dinos: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rpvf5srvu.....ketch.png?dl=0
I also occasionally reference "muscle-gut" body type models for anthros.

Ooooh, hmm...circles, I DID try to make it look circular, perhaps I went too angular?
What do you mean by a "heavy set chest" Does it have to look big or..?
Thank you so much for the sketch references too, I'm not used to drawing circles and what not before doing the whole picture...I'll try that some more.
