This song was actually inspired by  viecruel after hearing his piece War on the Radio where I use that piece in apart of this song.

Story behind the lyrics:

Imagine a scene during a war where the main character is stationed at his base or bunker. His partner is stationed at a base closer to enemy territory. The main character called out to his partner as he was leaving but his partner said that we would be there when he radioed him in. Sure enough, an explosion is heard, the main character radios for his partner but, is given no response.
