I don't submit many photos since I'm really not that good at photography, but I wanted to show off this little image of my crew. That's Ayde on the far left, then Quistis with her eyes closed, Rinoa getting her head squished a little by Quistis, and Lian below Rinoa. Selphie is hiding in there somewhere unseen. The container says 'ferret treats' but the rats love them like crazy. I just don't give them too many. They smell like people food!
I mostly wanted to show off Rinoa in this one. Look, they really make Siamese marked rats! Rinoa is my second Siamese rat. My first one was named Garnet and was my heart rat. Sweetest little thing. Rinoa is a lot more shy and dainty, but at the same time I've seen her bulldog the big twice her size boys when they annoy her. (My male and female rats cohabitate, but the males have been neutered so my clan remains at five)

After owning them I will never get a hamster or anything else again. Rats are so amazing. They're not aloof like hamsters at all, and will run up and kiss you, play with your hands, and some can even learn tricks. Just be sure you get at least two, because they need buddies when you're not around.
Oh I'm sure he'll love that (about getting two) lol he loves them so much.

Their cage is next to my desk where i do all of my work. They keep me sane and entertained with their antics, and when I need something to cuddle I can take one out and hug on it and usually get my cheek and eyebrows groomed for the trouble. Ayde will sit in my lap like a little puppy and lick my arms. They're wonderful little pets, and nothing like their wild cousins.
Ayde (the rat on the left) is an odd eye, which means he has one red eye and one black one. It's a really deep ruby red though so you only notice it when the camera flashes. Rinoa on the far right has the red albino eyes, but since she has pigment on her nose, ears, paws, and a little splotch on her butt I don't think she counts as one.
