Mint and Jess tend to share a lot of classes since they're both Grass types, and of course that means they know each other a little bit. So when the subject of the Fall Formal came up, and they both realized that had nothing planned for that evening they figured hey, why not go together and just have a fun evening?

Of course Jess doesn't really own any kind of clothes that would be considered proper formal attire, so he made do with what he had. And when he saw that Mint wasn't expecting him to be sporting a tuxedo and stretch limo for the night, it was certainly a relief. So it's more of a Fall Kinda-Formal-But-Not-Quite-But-Still-Close-Enough. Nothing wrong with that though, right?
