Was out hiking a week ago when we spotted this fellow just hanging out on a rock. The spider was quite content to sit still while we all took pictures. This is first time I've seen a tarantula in the wild.

Yes, those are little rain drops. There was a little mist in the air that day which is why the rock is slick looking.
