"Hey Jeremiah, my new limbs came in." Lucy giggled with delight as she hopped up to her husband. The naked quadruple amputee rabbit was normally a biped, but this set of limbs made her into a quadruped, giving the appearance of being a feral rabbit.
"That's the project you were working on in your free time that you wouldn't let me touch?" Jeremiah asked with an amused grin on his face.
"Yes!" Lucy laughed with glee, "These are so much fun. Sure they don't give me hands, but it's so easy for me to quickly move around with them. I don't have to worry about balance like I do when I'm walking on two legs. I'm so much more confident in my movements.
"What were you planning to use these for?" her loppy eared hubby asked with a raised eyebrow. "You clearly put quite a bit of thought into them."
"To play with the kids you goof." Lucy teased as she hopped around his legs, "You all have so much fun in the yard and at the park. I'll be able to actually keep up with all of you now."
"That's a good point" Jeremiah mused, "You'd do a good job playing tag with them while wearing those. How is the battery life?"
"It's great" Lucy answered, sitting up on her haunches to give her neck a rest from being on all fours. "With no hands and only a few sensors, the servos and electronics are simpler and leave more space for batteries."
After a moment of watching at Lucy look back at him playfully, he asked. "Okay, you want me to do something, but I can't read your mind. What is it?"
Flopping onto her back, Lucy giggled, "I need you to get me dressed, silly. You know I can put on limbs without help, but dressing myself with these is just not gonna happen."
Lovingly rolling his eyes, Jeremiah knelt down and scratched Lucy's head. "Lets get going then you goof. I can tell you're looking forward to showing the kids your new form."
Flipping herself back onto all fours, Lucy began hopping back towards her workshop as Jeremiah followed, smiling happily the whole way.
