Another one of my own creations. I wanted to try drawing something that can be cute but creepy.

As the name suggests, these creatures are found in caves, particularly ones that have a vast amount of crystals since that's their diet. Their accent color (claws, eyes, feather and tail tips) changes depending on the color of the crystals they consume.

While these things are naturally calm, they do have their own defense mechanisms, one of these is to unhinge their jaws to intimidate. The adults are especially protective of their young, and will attack with their crystal claws if needed.
