“Preg...nant?” the Zorua confusingly asked once again, not knowing the term.
It seemed he was too young to learn about the birds and the bees, so the Latias decided to explain this in a very vague way using a metaphor. “You see, nature has planted two seeds inside my tummy to grow into these beautiful twins I’m carrying now. Though unlike how normal mommies, like yours, give life to you after you’ve fully grown, I play a special role that makes me have to carry my seeds until the world needs them. So I have to protect and care for my children until that day comes!”
The first part the Zorua was able to understand, but that second part flew right over his head! Especially because he doesn’t even know what kind of Pokemon he’s talking to! “So you’re...preg-ga-nan...forever?” he asked her, taking a guess at what she meant.
“Well, it sure feels that way!” Michi laughed, making her belly wobble up and down as she did so, making the Zorua shake along with it. The vibration also cause the Lati twins in her womb to act up again, making the mom blush and hold her belly gingerly, trying to calm them down with loving rubs and pats as she did when they were hungry.
The Zorua felt every big push, bump, and kick from those young ones inside of her, and seemed to be enjoying it! He looked happy for the first time since meeting the Latias, and playfully began to jump on her baby bump to play with the young as well!
Upon noticing this, the Latias looked over to the Zorua and back at her belly. She radiantly smiled and figured that...this was a very innocent and serene moment for the Zorua and her children. So she stopped trying to calm them down and happily watched the Zorua bounce and pounce on where he could see the unborn Lati twins pushing, all while she finished up eating her daily meal.
It didn’t take too long for the full Zorua to tucker himself out. After finishing her feast, she decided to personally step out of her haven to bring the young Zorua boy back to his home in the forest beyond her own.
