Looking forward and Looking Back
a really fun image I did up during my lunch break of the first version of Chiima looking forward to her future at Current Chiima.
When I was 13, I always would think to the future and just wish to be there becaues the current times were so shitty. I used to say "I know it will get better in the future but this is right now and right now is so shitty" all the time and I remember feeling that way too. I remember feeling so heart-wrenchingly distraught all those years ago.
The idea of feeling like that again terrifies me but as I am now, I've come so far and I can look back and all it is is a memory. There were so many dark times but also a lot of fun times that I didn't give enough credit. I look back on those fun times now and I'm glad they're a part of me.
So much growing has been done, and still there's so much more growing left to do

I'm so proud of you. Its nice to think back and feel somewhat correct about your thinking. It did get better, life became less shitty for a while. Life will always be a form of shitty, but with that thinking, it helps to make it so much less so for the future that waits ahead. Well done on the picture and keep up the great work bud.
