Fun fact: it probably loves you so hard because you never bother it. Cats are introverts, they only want a certain, limited amount of attention. If a cat owner constantly goes and cuddles their cat, the cat will see no need to initiate contact itself - it's already getting all the attention it wants. Maybe more than it wants.
But if you're a person who never bothers the cat... who maybe doesn't even likes cats... the cat will come to you. To get that certain, desired amount of attention that you aren't giving it. Not giving attention is unacceptable. You have been volunteered.

This maybe true for some, but cats aren't "introverted" their INDEPENDENT. And some aren't. Some are highly affectionate, others are highly vocal. Some don't wanna be touched at all, or be entirely left alone. Some act like puppies - so loyal they follow you around the house. It's almost like they're individuals with different personalities and dispositions based on many factors.
