I am not entirely sure how I ended up with two coat patterns for Rarity but I couldn’t pick very well between them in regards to which looked best in my eyes! xD

Sooty pattern Rarity is the top image. I am ridiculously in love with the sooty pattern, and it really looks good on the fashionista uni~ Almost kinda lace-like. Also it’s similar to the dappled look I’ve seen done on her coat before, which I also love, but not quite the same.
Grulla (or dun? I get real second-guessy on these names sometimes) pattern Rarity is the bottom image. It’s more simple and clean, with the eelstripe and her darker points. I saw a silver grulla mare while I was looking around for pretty patterns to try, and she was so gorgeous I had to try it on Rarity!

I’m not sure which one would end up being my actual headcanon look for her. xD I like them both a lot~
