Raider? Lawman? None of that matters here... Finally Nell and Tristan can enjoy each others company in a more casual, relaxed setting. Seeing them together now, you'd never know they were supposedly on opposite sides of the law. Catching sight of them out in public, you'd assume they were just any ordinary couple - maybe a little unorthodox, as the big buff pony slings the small feminine-looking bunny boy over her shoulder, but nothing too strange.
They seem to be having fun! A few drinks at the bar (Nell putting away twice as many as her small companion), a competitive pool game with ridiculous levels of cheating from the pony, flicking peanuts at each other in a booth over a round of crude jokes, forfeit shots and sweet unrestrained laughter.
After a stray peanut lands in your drink, an earnest apology from the bunny and a second peanut fired into your glass from the raucous pony, you're given the offer.
Tristan: "Please, let me get you another drink."
Nell (downing her beer): "Get me one too, tsun-bun."
Tristan: "You've had enough!"
Nell: "The hell I have! *burp* Another!"
Tristan (rolling his eyes): "Would you like to join us?"
Nell: "Yeah, get over here and play with us. *flicking a peanut into Tristan's cheek*"
Tristan: "Ah! Nell -"
Nell: "You took your eyes off the ball! That's a fail! Drink!"
Tristan: "Bloody cheating... *taking a drink*"
Nell: "Aww, what's wrong? I thought you were good at catching things in your mouth... *wink*"
Tristan: "Haa haa..."
Nell (turning back to you): "So, what are you waiting for? Get over here! You wanna party with us or what?"
You consider your options as a fresh drink is brought over by the bar staff. The pair seem nice enough, and the night is young... why not join them and see where the evening takes you?

Oh wow, I never thought anyone would take that much of an interest in my characters. That's made my day! ^_^
The short version (otherwise I'd have you here all day) is that Tristan and Nell are a couple, despite being a Lawman and a Raider respectively. They met when circumstances forced Tristan to leave the safety of town and head out into the wilderness. While in the badlands, he bumped into Nell and her group and was captured, to be sold as a slave at the raider city in the heart of the desert wastes. During the return journey, Nell's group was attacked and all but wiped out, leaving the pony and her captive alone in extremely hostile territory. Nell and Tristan had to rely on each other in order to survive, and over the course of their journey, their relationship changed into an uneasy friendship. By the time they made it to relative safety, the two had become close, and it was clear that despite being on opposite sides of the law, they wanted to stay together.
