So the body armor is over lapping ceramic plates, very cool practical, and realistic.

My friend asked if that was like the armor that used explosives to stop a blast, and I told him that would be reactive armor, and then started to laugh, but now I have to say I'm sorry for laughing...

(Dang, she can hit hard when she is pissed off!)

The normal gear is made up of smaller overlapping scales for a level of flex. The one character is going a bit over-board with extra armor plates.

But it just makes mirror real tech. I have seen that heavier plates can be switched out, so it makes more sense.

Ceramic Inserts. Heavy so they aren't used all the time.

Looks like the fella in the middle is trying to make eir own "Dragon-Scale" armor.

I gotta love the expressions in this pic. The mouse officer is calmly asking the tigress, "Can you *not* put your tail in my face, trooper?" The tigress is surprised because she didn't realize she was doing it. The canid who's stuffing extra armor plates in there is certain that he *will* survive this, because he's prepared. Then there's the trooper on the far left who's squared away and quietly amused by these antics.

Depression is a best to deal with, I know. Best thing to do, in my experience, is try to do your craft at least an hour a day, like an workout routine.
The longer you stick with this routine, the less it will seem like work.

I've probably said before but, I've loved seeing your art as always.

Sorry to hear about the bout of depression hit'n ya. I've had it pretty bad myself in the past, so I know how it can go. I take it, working on any model projects has also taken a hit because of the depression as well?

There seems to be quite a discussion between the pair on the right... I can just hear "Seriously, look at this! How am I meant to...."

Our bloke in the middle seems to feel that more is more and has gone a little overboard in the armour inserts department.

Depression sucks. you may laugh like heck at a funny movie, but within minutes you'd feel like Erma Felna living in Nicklesville, and there's no way to really shake the feeling. some drungs help, but you don't want to be dependent on them.

all I can say is enjoy the spring. can't hurt...
