Hi CJ,
Yes I have steamers, they're in the engine house so you can't see them, the engine house has 22 tracks, each track holds 3 locos. I don't have a GG1 or a classic BN, however I do have ATSF and BNSF locos in the red & silver warbonnet paint and in the heritage phase 1 paint scheme of the GN the ATSF are 2 B40-8 and the BNSF are 2 GP38's both duel motors and pull like hell, usally 25-35 cars behind them. The B40-8's are by MTH & the GP38's are by Williams Electric Trains. I also have 2 other small engine houses with steamers inside in West yard, along with intermodel and freight cars, I need more trains !! :>

Hi CJ,
Yeah I do have more diesels than steamers, yes I do need more trains :) If I got a GG1 I would have to string up cantanary to make it look & run correctly (And they're expensive) Also I model the Midwest not the East coast where GG1's ran. The classic BN Green I didn't get due too low production output, but I do have a Red & Gray Burlington (CB&Q) SD45 with sound and 2 red & gray Burlington (CB&Q) GP38's, each duel motored. They look and run great together, both by Williams.

My favorite road was always the NYC, along with Pennsy and Conrail. The concept of my RR is that the board of directors ( Me as the CEO as well as all the other EO positions) :) created the CA&P (Chicago Atlantic & Pacific) RR from the remants of the PC debacle, after the NYC & Pennsy merged, (What a mistake that was!) :( We took over CR trackage and allowed ATSF, CSX, BNSF, GT (CN), SP, C&NW and other lines trackage rights over our lines to create a through East to West coast service, through the Chicago area. (This happend due to the road names Lionel, MTH, K Line & Williams modeled after) UP & NS weren't interested, since they had their own lines to run on NS on the Wabash & UP on the GM&O (C&A). Boy I fantisize a lot don't I HEH HEH :). Anyways it allows for a wide diversity of RR's past & present to run on my pike.
Hi,
That's a wonderful concept, wish they could of done it in real life, would of saved alot of fuel and lower emmisions! :) Also talk about high speed electric service. I could see Electroliner coaches, sleepers, baggage/mail, dinners & observation cars on the long distance trains. Plus freight motors as well.
