Another, sort of, trade between me and ExTor (shares a page with 
Arcadias). Or to be more precise, a fun request I gladly accepted after torturing the poor author with my ThuderShiny fetish commission (turned out very amazing btw, you can find it here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/30754124/). The main focus is obviously Princess Celestia's filthy soles, butt here's some more background to it by the writer:

Being alive for this long tends to result in an interesting perspective on things. Such as having zero fucks to give.
Going all out with comfort also means ditching the frilly royal garb, the detachment of bodyguards and the constant correspondence about her every move. To replace them, she puts on practical everyday clothes, goes out alone and travels wherever she wants regardless of any security concerns. A full month of living off the grid Princess style (disregarding pictures of her popping up as soon as she’s sighted). A 7’4 tall alicorn demigoddess padding around barefoot doesn’t exactly blend into the crowds, even in her everyday clothes (especially as all of them belong 2 decades ago). She’s liable to pick any destination and leave without a trace, meaning she’s rarely crowded, yet always able to give anyone a surprise.
One of her favorite vacation past times is hiking. It’s a quiet activity that lets her work less with her head and more with her body. More importantly, a hoot to go through in bare feet. For soles like hers it’s a festival of sensations, as alicorn skin doesn’t really roughen or grow callouses. While it may be the furthest thing of comfort, it’s natural and exhilarating, all without the need to bother other ponies to have fun at their expense, which is the main way Celestia usually finds excitement. Sinking her soles into the soil, navigating all sorts of natural detritus and staying on edge in a fun, electrifying way, it’s something she can’t get enough of. In spite of constantly having to step on hard, sharp objects and otherwise negotiating the different nature trails, the Princess finds a great release in going through woodland, hill and mountain trails in her naked feet.
Obviously, her feet don’t exactly stay clean through all this. Several layers of dirt and dust, errant pebbles stuck to her skin and lodged between toes, twigs attached to patches of mud and all sorts of leaves all end up on her once-pristine soles. Any jewelry is completely stained (she stopped wearing her favorite sets – they were a chore to clean). Though it’s unbecoming of a Princess like herself, Celestia finds it greatly satisfying, knowing she is defying all sorts of unwritten rules. Sweaty, tired and covered in filth on the bottoms of her feet, she’s anything but royal. This habit of hers is no mystery and it causes endless meltdowns back at the Palace, but that only encourages her. Because the real enjoyment comes when she makes it to a scenic rest stop and does just that – rests her feet in all their dirty glory. After hours of barefoot trekking, she’s more than entitled to, and makes no attempt at being modest.
Everyone knows who she is and no one has the gut to complain, all eyes glued to her bare soles, which she cockily shows off for all to see. Under no pretense of acting like a normal hiker, Celestia makes sure to put her feet at an easily viewable spot – though if possible, she’ll definitely choose something with bonus amenities (her favorites are fountains, as cool water on filthy feet heated up after hours of walking is heavenly). Despite how grueling the hikes can be and how bad her dogs are usually barking by this point, her smug, dominant demeanor goes nowhere. She enjoys every wayward glance and revels in both arousal and discomfort that this sight causes in other ponies. Murmurs and gossip are abound, and Celestia makes special care to make eye contact with those that really take their time staring. It may be one hell of an experience for her plush, divine feet, but having the time of her life is completely worth it.
Really satisfied with the overall result, a much needed ode to the sun princess' precious feets and her casual barefootedness.

Took me even forever-er to comment on this pic. Consider your slow response to the fic that resulted in this getting made, fucking shrektinated.
So, yeah, I'm quite happy I didn't come up with too much for this pic. You fill gaps in really well. The BG is better than you give it credit for, and the decision to shift the bench slightly to the right accomodated for it really well. Like, the scene itself is just more satisfying than a bench with a sorta-kinda-maybe public naturey background that I initially tried to imagine. You should get pushed to do more of these background enabling pics. The fact it exists on its own without usurping or trying to blend in with the porn element is something that works better than I can understand. Also the fact it’s based off a real place, that just adds more authenticity. Using the drib for size comparison is a decision that’s resonated better and better with me as time’s gone on.
Both you and I agree that her outfit ended up looking better than it had any right to. I guess you see my point, if not my fetish of pones in urban clothes. I like how she still looks feminine, total tomboy clothes are a little less fitting for her. You got way better at folding jeans too. Though my favorite detail ended up being how you accidentally cameod the pendant from the photo picture around her neck. Jewelry really added a lot to this pic, she’d have looked super lame without the earring, necklace and toe rings. Especially the toe rings. Putting the shades on top of her horn was also the right decision I feel, I mean what else is that stick there for.
Feets wise, these are the best of hers that you’ve drawn yet. You really need to stick with this added thickness you’ve given to most pones lately. It’s the perfect addition to how you’re already an expert at well-proportioned feet that look just realistic enough to allow this pretty looking level of chonk. Honestly, right now I believe you draw the best pone feets. The shapes aren’t too cartoony or too lanky, the toes aren’t too expressive or too static, and there’s literally no one who even bothers with small details like the skin on the sides or the folds around the heel, or fleshy indents when the foot’s placed on something. Everyone else has SOME flaw, but you don’t really have any left anymore. Don’t let it get to your head though, kek
If there’s anything I regret, it’s that there wasn’t a way to salvage the original pose. The hand over the bench was so sexy, even if right now the bench is used to great effect to show how huge she is. I also admit that the fountain has its downsides too, because even after we’ve ironed out most of its kinks, it still slightly obscures her feet, and it did cause the clean version to have the water particles. With a few weeks having passed, I think dry feets woulda been more rawly satisfying. As the last note on what I coulda wanted to change – I should have caved in and asked for a face near identical to her grin from the photo pic. Im still fapping to that one. Not that this one DOESN’T work, it’s just something simpler could have been better. She deserves lots of love anyway, however, don’t feel put down. Anything in this is on me if nothing else, but hey, transparency.
The filth though… oooooooffffffffffffff. It was a risky move, but it paid off, in my mind. Adding the pebbles and the torn leaves was a huge boon. Now this was art. I just wish arcy wasn’t such a fag and that he’d color the filth too, because a good layer of blush under the dirt would have added a lot. As it is, you’ve certainly achieved the most organic dirt I’ve ever seen in a pic. This is undeniably dirt that’s there for aesthetic purposes, it’s there because she’d been walking, and not because the artist is some lame-ass worship phagolismus. I despise worship dirt, but this, this FILTH, is glorious. I’m glad working on this helped you pick up a few techniques for further filthy endeavors too. No one else does this, after all. Thinking back, I actually believe that going with the blackness level that looked sooty would have worked out a little better than the current shades of grey did. I do still enjoy it quite a lot. Im in complete agreement that the pebbles between the toes are orgasmic looking. The wide leaves on the side, too, that’s just, epic.
The scrunch foot has remained equally good to the stretch, which I need to clarify to you, because you did find it inferior. Its better in the filth version than the clean. Looks more satisfying that way.
Don’t forget that princesses are for loaf snoots. Only loaf snoots. Pls never give her the memey nostrils again. No hoers. Just bread.

Neat and nice review, glad to have a summary of everything that works on this pic. just to comment on some points now that I have a clearer view on it:
I'm certainly working more on backgrounds now, so expect more of them in the future. I agree that this one worked out pretty well, especially the bench for size referece. Her outfit matches her style perfectly as you said, my fave detail is her earring. it's just dirty enough to spice things up wihtout getting too much. Feets wise, I'm very fluttered with your remarks butt I'm still not 100% satisfied so I'll continue working on things. At least it doesn't get to my head still. I have to say, in this case they sure do look chonk and pretty damn massive, which is very desirable. And pretty thicc too, thicc is always a good thing.
Moving to complaints, my only real issue (not counting autistic technical details) is with the water fountain. As you mentioned, dry would have had a better impact butt the vision with the fountain was to create some heavy contrast between clean-ish parts that the water hits and the rest of the filthy, dry-stained soles. For this I should have made a clear distinciton of clear/dirty parts on the sole that the water hits, with a clear, emphasized border. That was the initial goal butt I went with "water hits the foot butt it's still all smudgy and dirty anyway", which is not bad butt certainly not as strong for me. I'm a contrast slut after all. Face works really well for me, not much to add there.
Filth looks beatiful, I agree, and I also think a more intense, darker version would have probably worked better (especially for the fountain thing). Like actually black at some parts. The details however are perfect, the fucking leaves at the sides are uber great and the pebbles too, maybe I'd only remove the sticc from the top of her left foot. Very organic.
I guess loaf snouts will have to do for now, will keep the nostrils for thicc bug queens. Thanks for adding the bg description too, it adds another layer of depth to it (I guess kinda like the actual bg does for you). So yeah, in overall I think we did a good job on this :ok_hand:
