Cornering the Target (600 watcher raffle)
This pic is a prize for 
TastyTales for being one of the winners of my 600 watcher raffle.
Can I just say - its been nice to do a SFW pose. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with NSFW, but sometimes It's nice to just take a step back and work on other, tamer things. In this case, I had a lot of fun with the background and the lighting/shading - especially with that shadow ball.

That shadow ball was a lot of fun to work on! I used an image from the anime as reference - lot of dark purples and blues. If I had wanted, i probably could have gone more in depth with the ball itself, but i decided against it since the lightning effects would have blocked a good portion of it.
they key is trying to break em down into their base elements. I will say, the hardest part for me was the lightning bolts going over the surface, simply cause I found myself having to fight to make them less symmetrical and more random.
And thank ya - I'm trying to improve as I go. In this case I've tried to detail the trees a bit better than "stick with ball on top". Still got room to improve, but things are getting better all the same
