Well! The lovely and talented Vera http://www.furaffinity.net/user/vera/ submitted this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3095484 and it inspired me to draw some bug anthros! So here you have my favorite, the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach (Gromphadorhina portentosa) and a Green Banana Cockroach (Panchlora nivea) ! <3<3<3
I was very lazy with this, I mostly wanted to get it out before I forgot about it. :C So it's a little rushed and sloppy but I actually really like it! Looking back on it I can see a few more things I'd like to do to the characters but oh well...
I will be doing a series of these, all of them cockroach related. I DO claim these as my characters, I just don't have a name for them yet.

Woah, very awesome :) I like how they are part human rather than looking more like a random anthro combined with a roach as most people draw them. The colors look beautiful, they're instantly identifiable as banana roach and hisser! :)
Oh, and if you want to know of a place to buy the nivea, I know of a place with a good deal :)

I've been thinking about getting some, but 1.) no room and 2.) my boyfriend would kill me. XD He already hates the hissers and barely tolerates them.
And thaaaaank you! Looking back I think I want to make their underside extend to their tummy, and give them an extra set of arms.... mmmmaybe. They where so fun to draw! I'll be doing more.
