Another thing-from-a-dream.
I want to call it "Laszlo II" and give it an improbable back-story involving rejection by its race, an adoption by humans leading to homoerotic shenanigans (or whatever you call it when a man gets off with a trans-dimensional alien of seemingly undefined gender) or something along those lines.
