This is a gift for hunterBeingHunted on Deviantart ( https://www.deviantart.com/hunterbeinghunted ), she's an amazing person and a great artist, and totally deserves much more attention! Throughout the years Hunter made some amazing gift art for me, way more detailed and time consuming than anything I ever did in return, so this time I really wanted to make something that would be at the same level of quality. ^^

The characters you see here are Blue (Lynxian) and Shadow (Lupine), and they are the protagonists of a comic Hunter is working on, and that I would highly recommend checking out. After facing all sorts of misadventures and discriminations for being a "non traditonal" couple they simply decided to live on their own, and form their own "pack". Sure, a pack of just two people is perhaps a bit too small, but they don't need anything else. They are happy together and that's what matters!

So yeah, this is another reason why I haven't been very active in the past days. This drawing took me ages, but I'm very happy with the result, and I also learned SO much by experimenting with new techniques. The process was overall similar to another work of mine (The Secret Springs), but this time I used a lot of acryic and white ink, and applied watercolor on top of them for additional detail. I really should work more on similar landscapes when I have some time!

Anyways, I hope you liked it! I'd be happy to read any critique or suggestion you have to help me improve further. :D
