This is the portrait Dzah'n's roommate Chris took of him during their freshman service project.
Chris - "Hey, Shawn! Remember this?"
Dzah'n - "Ah! You still have that? It's so embarrassing!"
Chris - "You think? You look really good in it though..."
Dzah'n - "..."
Chris - "I guess I shouldn't tell you I used it for a photography assignment."
Dzah'n - 'You what!?"
Chris - "Haha!"
I got the concept for this piece after listening to my favorite Passion Pit song. If you haven't heard it, check it out:

Tried a lot of new things with this one. I wanted to go with a painterly look for the background, which I've never done before now. The perspective was also a bit of a challenge, I'm not sure if it's that convincing. I recently picked up Clip Studio Paint and wanted to mess around a bit. Not gonna lie, I think I'm in love! Hehe...
