With our special guest star, the "Sad Hoots" Dauntless Shrike.
When confronted by giant beasts (let's call them "behemoths" for argument's sake), the normal human response is to go whack it with swords, axes, hammers, war pikes, chain blades, and Ostian Repeaters until it stops moving. This results in a lot of wasted energy and expense that only gives more fuel to the slayer-industrial complex and an economy run almost entirely by weapons manufacturing.
If only they knew ... pineapples solve everything. They also make for very convenient holiday gift shopping.
