I think this is my best (released) song, even though it's from a little while back already. I wrote it before I realised that it's actually quite a common mistake to use a lightyear as a measure of elapsed time. So much for thinking I'm being witty.
A million lightyears I've roamed these lands

No, I don't suppose I have studied it, but I do experiment with atypical combinations of rhythms and melodies. It's not very concious though; in this case I improvised all the extra layers (that is everything but the rhythm guitar and lead vocals) in one or two takes, so I can't really take that much writing credit.
I take lyric writing quite seriously though, so I'm very flattered that you like them. :)
