The events of Chapter 15 of the CFA story have led to this. A confrontation in Atlanta, GA for the CFA World Championship! The undefeated champion, Leon, goes against Slash, the mouth from the south!
I have had the idea for this picture for probably about 10 years now. I was not able to get the look for either of them down initially, but Leon's was established sooner. I went back and forth between different designs for Slash before ultimately deciding on a look that I've actually used in real life when playing basketball. A few months ago I got to see it come out perfectly on him, so all I needed at that point was another artist to complete the remainder of my vision.
And yesterday it all came together. I present the advertisement poster for the main event in what will be Chapter 16 of the CFA Story. The personalities of the characters comes alive. The belt has a shine to it that lets you know it's the ultimate prize. And the word placement draws the eyes and informs that these two heavyweights are sure to bring an intense fight.

Really need to make a start on this series. Tried to write my own wrestling promo thingy in the past and... well, I have to say I really respect the amount of time and effort you must've put in to get it this far. Should be a fun read - and pics like this really add to the hype.
