Got da toys for da little girls and boys, then visited my dad at walmart... check.

Now off to game stop to stand in line for 2 hours in the cold with my hot coffee to get my next section of happpyyyyyy :-D I am WAY too AWAKE right now for my own good! :-D

Awesome. I totally walked down to gamestop at 6:30 this morning to snatch my love. I'm done forever.

Ah, yes, Black Friday. It's like going into a bay packed full of starving sharks, chumming the water, and saying "ZOMG WHO KNEW PEOPLE GOT VIOLENT/PUSHY AND/OR WOULD STAMPEDE TO GET THIS 75% OFF GEEGAW WE ONLY ORDERED FIVE OF BECAUSE WE'RE RAT BASTARDS?" when the resulting melee requires police and/or EMS be called. :P

Nevertheless, happy hunting to you and your fellow insaniac early-bird-sales shopaholics. May your discounts be many and your aggravations few. :3

Heh, actually, it is never that bad around here (or at least my zen overflows and I don't even notice the crazy). The only negative thing I hear was the woman behind me becoming impatient in line and yelling at the store's people about how people are jumping the line and stuff... and she had an attitude the whole time. Everyone else was really REALLY nice and it was strangers helping strangers all over the place. Some very sweet moments happened last night and I even got interviewed by the Frederick News Post :)

Best Buy was awesome this year too b/c they basically guarunteed the "hot items" this year if you were standing in line and paid by like 9am (I guess the back ordered some stuff for people). I wish Walmart would do that. This year, instead of the massive lines, they kept Walmart open and just had people stand in line for individual items (sucks if you are by yourself and you want more than one hot item).

I just love that Amazon was meeting and beating most of the brick-and-mortar stores' deals. Loves me my Internets... :3
