In the first decade of the 21st century Katherine joined up with the military organization that would later become the ICDF. Working to secure regions and deal with supervillain attacks in combat zones and unstable regions. As she rose up through the ranks the organization eventually reformed around her as pressure increased from various governments to create a functional counter-super unit to deal with the increasing number of threats around the world from both villains and heroes alike.
She was eventually assigned to the SCT, [Sabre Combat Team], following a devastating series of attacks in 2007 from a supervillain controlled weapon known as Heavy Barrel. The newly created Sabres were deployed overseas to run covert counter-super operations in the wake of the weapon's attacks and eventual defeat. For the remainder of the decade Katherine would lead the Sabres throughout various countries in the region to continue clean up operations and were eventually ordered to assist western operations in the Helmand province. However their progress was impeded in the province and they found themselves unable to provide aide to various allies, including members of the Australian SASR in Helmand.
In 2010 the SCT was reassigned again with Katherine leading the rest of her team in counter super operations on a more global scale. However the missions were much more random for a period of time as various governments tugged and pulled at the growing defense force's assets for their own agenda. Everything eventually came together in 2016 when the organization began to receive an enormous amount of funding from the United States and Canada. Apex units and official military volunteers were added to the organization and with the eventual attack on the Colmaton Bureau in the United States things grew even further. The SCT eventually found itself high up in a command position in the new International Cosmic Defense Force, assigned to the HMAS Canberra, one of the ICDF's flying warships.
As of this current time Katherine and the rest of the Sabres are an active anti superforce still deployed by the ICDF.
