This is probably a good time to mention this was "inspired" by something my mom would do to whiten my teeth. And she did it on many different occassions. sometimes to punish me for a bad dentist visit, sometimes to prepare me for a date/outing where she wanted my teeth to look particularly nice. But this was something she did on a fairly regular basis aaannnnd It's only in retrospect as i've started sorting through what my mom did to me over the years that I realized THIS WASN'T NORMAL. I remember questioning her once about it and she said the dentist recommended it. Whiiiich im pretty sure now was a bald faced lie.
