Ilona was a gentle mousemaid, the daughter of a retired swordfighting father from the Northlands. She lived in a secluded cottage deep in the woods of Mossflower with her parents and little brother in peace, until the mad owl Morice declared their land as his own and the mouse family as intruders. The rest of her family were killed viciously by the mad owl, and Ilona was effectively held hostage in her own home. When Aaron arrived and was chased by Morice into hiding in the same cottage, Ilona and Aaron planned their escape, but were thwarted and attacked by Morice. Ilona would take up her father's sword and save Aaron, who was nearly killed. Her home in ruins, and her life turned upside down from the events, Ilona joined Aaron in his wandering to see the rest of Mossflower and the surrounding countries for herself. She learned swordfighting from members of the Mossflower Patrol, and would take up adventuring with her future mate.

If I was going to get a redesign of Aaron's outfit (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/30888860/), it would only make sense if his mate had a similar design. I loved her original cloak and tunic design, but like Aaron's, it was impractical to travel in. So once again  nateday pulled through and designed something wonderful from scratch.
