A piece for Illustration 4- a wraparound book cover. I chose "Throne of Jade" by Naomi Novik, second in the Temeraire series. I actually started this piece earlier in the summer, and realized it would work for the assignment, so I went and finished it. It's kind of subtle, maybe not the best pic for a cover, but whatever.
All of the textures came from CGTextures.com. The boats were referenced from a book called "Classic Sail", by Joseph Gribbins.

Your pic is okay, I'm faving it and all, and I know you're not going to do anything more to it, but for a cover or such having a larger dragon in the foreground around ships (or something with the dragon as a larger focus) might have added further story to the picture. It seems odd that in a Temeraire book the ships would be the main focus and the dragon would be in the bg.
