Fenris49 's halloween treat last year was characters randomly changed by mysterious and spooky doors. I sent two of mine through.

Serena approached the strange mechanical door with some caution. She might have been an A.I. Projected into a semi-organic body still meant the ability to feel pain.

Still curious she passed through the door into a blaze of white light. He body suddenly felt very... restrictive. Looking down she watched in shock as he toes melded together and fur smoothed over taking a metallic shine. Bolts appeared as her legs became covered by metal plates. Vents os some sort appeared at her hips.

Her tail suddenly went ridged and Serena looked over her shoulder to see it turning into a mass of wires bundled together at the tip.

She tried to call out but the air suddenly left her lungs as if she'd been punched in stomach. Looking down she watched in shock as her front below her chest turned translucent. A hollow cavity that replaced her synthetic organs.

Serena tried to turn for the exit, but her movements were so stiff as the metal rolled over her chest and down her arms. Her right hand stopped functioning and she brought it up to see it had turned into some large three pronged laser. Her other hand reached for the door even as her fingers melded together into a metal mitten.

Then the changes reached her head and Serena felt the most alarming sensation as her A.I. Mind felt the most unpleasant thing. It was like looking at the most beautiful tapestry suddenly being rendered down to pointillism, and then into cubisim, and then into some crude imitation made out of Lego bricks. The knowledge was still there but the details were becoming smoothed out, jagged...

Pixelized.

All the while her hair melded together into a white metal plate, her muzzle smoothed over and formed a apeaher inside covered by a whole filled metal surface. Antenna protruded from each cheek. And last as the door finally opened, her eyes melded together into one glowing narrow band as she stomped out of the door.

“ALL SYSTEMS OPERATIONAL.” She droned in a monotone that only vaguely resembled her old voice, “BEGINNING SENSOR SWEEP OF LOCAL AREA. COMPLETION TIME: NINE HOURS.”
